"Coretta and her team are phenomenal. We adopted a HUGE, rambunctious golden/malamute with very little training. With complete k9, we started at square one and helped our guy build confidence and give him the time/patience and space to make good decisions on his own. I love how Coretta focuses on the thought process of the individual and meets them where they are. They kept us updated while he was with them and have provided us with the confidence and support we need to nurture an relationship with our new family member. What a gift you are, Coretta! Ringo loves you!"

"Daisy learned so much at Complete K-9! We both look forward to continuing our relationship with them!! Each week she had the same trainer which developed the bond and trust between them. I appreciate the patience of the staff in answering questions and focusing on the behavioral things that are important to us. No question Daisy will be attending the enrichment day care and boarding!! Thank you Complete K-9 and staff!!"

"We were at the point of giving up hope, our rescue puppy was thrown out of a pickup at about 6 weeks old, by 3 months he was out of control, we even thought about taking him to the pound. As a last ditch effort we went to Complete K9 Training. He’s only had 3 classes so far and we often ask, who is this dog and what have you done with my crazy dog. He is calm, attentive, follows commands and has become an amazing member of the family. He now makes good choices and in 3 short weeks is a real good boy. I can’t recommend Complete K9 Training any more then say it’s a miracle. Thank you!"

"I have been working with Coretta and her staff for almost two years now. I have completed their puppy, basic, and advanced obedience training with my dog Ember. During this time, We have also obtained two AKC titles while laying the ground work for Ember to become a working dog. I cannot stress enough about how this training has given not only Ember, but my family such an incredible quality of life. Coretta and her staff are extremely personable and truly cater to their clients wants and needs. If you are looking for an excellent dog trainer in the upstate look no further, you will not be disappointed."
What Makes Us different?
At Complete K-9, we are unique in that our programs are not one size fits all. Our approach is to meet you and your dog where you are on your journey and customize the plan based on your unique needs and training goals. No matter what your dog needs, we have a solution that is right for you.
In fact, we don’t even recommend a course of action until we meet your dog in person through our Free Evaluation. Every dog is different; therefore, every dog is trained differently. During your evaluation, you will meet with a trainer and discuss your dog’s lifestyle, then we will give your dog their First Training Lesson for Free!
Once training is over, it doesn’t end there. Training clients can take advantage of Social Club on Saturdays, where our community comes together to work through challenges in a group environment. Additionally, our Boarding and Daycare programs are also designed to help maintain all of your hard work and continue progress well after training is complete.
We understand that finding the right trainer can be a difficult task. There are so many options and so little guidance on the subject. Unfortunately, “professional dog trainers” do not need any certifications or insurance to train your dog, which is why there are so many options!
When it comes to dog training, we believe that two key factors matter most; experience and trustworthiness. Our owner, Coretta, has dedicated her life to this, changing lives all over the southeast since 2018. Coretta’s dedication and knowledge shines through from the moment you meet her.
At Complete K-9, we have perfected what we call People-First Dog Training. We believe that the owner is the most important part of everything that we do, and we go the extra mile to make sure that owners are well prepared for life with their pet. In all honesty, training a dog is the easy part that anyone can do. Equipping owners with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle real world situations … Well, that’s where Complete K-9 truly shines!
The best part of all of this is that you don’t have to take our word for it! Book your Free Evaluation and see for yourself. We guarantee that you will leave your evaluation in a better spot than when you arrived!

We consider ourselves balanced trainers, which means we are educated in every training method, and we tailor our training to each individual dog. We are very often the last stop for people who have been to multiple trainers and have discovered that their training approaches (such as Bribery, Dominance, or just managing a problem) are not working.
Our Approach is constantly changing. We are always staying up to date on the latest advancements in the dog training world, and we view each dog on a case-by-case basis. Very often, when training two dogs from the same household, we will train them in very different ways. We are also very big on socialization and confidence building, and we have a variety of methods that we utilize to do so.
Here is the Important Part…
We aren’t just training your dog. We will train you too. We are very committed to making sure that we properly train every owner just as well as we have trained their dog. We stand by our dogs, and we try to make sure every owner is as educated as possible on their dog. We try to have fun with owners as well. Dog training is a fun experience, and we want you to be just as excited as we are about your dog’s future! -
We have never met a dog that we could not work with or help. Keep in mind though that dog training is a team effort, and the best trained dogs come when owners are dedicated and diligent at working with their dogs and following your trainer’s advice.
When you decide to go with Complete K-9, you become a part of our team and all of us work for your dog. Your dog’s success is our number 1 priority, but your dog can’t do it alone. He or she needs you to be 100% committed and consistent for training to work as intended. With that said, Yes! We guarantee that we will continue helping you with your dog until you are satisfied. In return, we as that owners guarantee us that they are all in for their dog!

Most of our training takes place at our facility in SImpsonville, SC. Nestled on a scenic 6-acre property, our facility is designed to give your dogs a unique and enriching experience. Inspired by the charm of an old-school summer camp, our facility offers a relaxed and fun environment where dogs can roam, play, and explore the great outdoors.
While our facility may feel like we are in the middle of nowhere, we actually are not! Being just around the corner from Main Street Simpsonville gives us access to local stores and downtown locations. Every dog goes on multiple field trips to help desensitize, socialize, and build a neutral dog in real life scenarios.

Our programs vary in price depending on where your dog is currently. The only way that we can give you an accurate quote is by evaluating your dog during our free Evaluation. Our signature Day-Train Program is $2,450 but not every dog is a great fit.

With Service Dogs, we take them on a case-by-case basis. The only way for us to give a definite answer is schedule a Free Evaluation and discuss this with our team of experts. Our criteria for an approved candidate include items such as the dogs age, lineage, and psychological stability. We also evaluate the owner’s needs, knowledge, and ability to perform. In addition, we do not take on medical cases and stick primarily to psychiatric service dogs.
